Natura Viva offers guided SUP tours in Nuuksio National Park weekly all through the summer season. The Nuuksio SUP Adventure contains transport from downtown Helsinki and back – a truly easy and no-fuzz way to get acquainted with this lovely summer hobby. For self-guided stand up paddling we offer SUP boards for rent at the Hawk Nest. The boards come in two sizes and rental duration starts from one hour. Hawk Lake is nicely compact – You will have a fun time paddling on the lake and don’t have to worry about getting lost. The Haukanholma campfire site on the lakeshore offers a cozy place for a breather in-between.
Nuuksio National Park offers a tranquil setting for stand up paddling. Paddle on a calm forest lake and observe the nature on a Pelican Flow rental SUP board.
Hawk Lake is the optimal SUP environment: calm, compact and stunningly beautiful. The lake is surrounded by steep rocks and thick forests – the typical yet forever-pleasing sight of the Finnish wilderness. Hawk Lake is ideal for a couple hours worth of paddling – You can begin by enjoying a cold lemonade on the porch of Cafe Silva and finish the perfect outdoor day with a dip in the lake.
Stand up paddling is, in addition of it being really fun, also good exercise which affects the muscles in the midriff, biceps and legs equally – not forgetting the fresh forest air flowing through the lungs when paddling in the nature. A clear win-win for both the body and mind!
