Overnight on Isoholma Island – Meriholma lean-to shelter at the northern tip of Teijo National Park’s island destination
Isoholma Island lies in Teijonselkä, between Teijo National Park and Kimitoön. This outdoor island is part of Teijo National Park. A five-kilometre nature trail circles the island, taking you across meadows, along the seashore and over cliffs.
Meriholman laavu is located at the northern tip of Isoholma – from here, you’ll have stunning views over Teijonselkä and the neighbouring Pikkuholma Island. Meriholman laavu offers excellent facilities for an overnight wilderness trip on this beautiful island. There is a dry toilet next to the shelter.
There is no public boat connection to Meriholman laavu from other parts of the national park or from the Teijo area. There is also no firewood service at Meriholman laavu.
