Jeturkasti ancient beach is a ice-age formed nature sight in Teijo National Park, one of the nature gems in Southern Finland. This rock formation took its shape during the last ice age, some 9000 years ago.
The land area now known as Teijo National Park was partially under water, the ancient Baltic ice lake. When the ice melted and the water level sank, these nature phenomenon created fascinating land forms, such as the Jeturkasti ancient beach. It consists of several hundred rocks, which were given their shape on the cataclysm of the nature elements.

This hiking trail is designed to be walked clockwise, the starting point being Teijo Nature Center. The path leads West towards Mathildedal village and the seashore. Soon the Jeturkastin muinaispolku Trail will divert towards South.
