The Baltic Sea Plogging project brings together companies and their customers along the Baltic Sea coast to take care of the cleanliness of our beloved sea. Laguuni, based in Hietsu and Keilaniemi, started the project in summer 2020 by offering a free kayak for litter picking. The litter collection culminated at the end of the summer with the Baltic Sea Day, when Laguuni and Natura Viva's offices set out together to clean up the Baltic Sea. In summer 2020, a total of 1,000 kg of litter was collected in three Laguuni kayaks.

Baltic Sea Plogging has expanded every year. Now there are kayaks for litter collection in eight different locations along the Baltic coast, from Helsinki to Oulu. We at Natura Viva are also keen to get involved and are again this year participating in the Baltic Sea Plogging project, which will run throughout the summer.

You can rent a kayak from the Vuosaari Paddling Centre to collect litter and go with a friend to clean up our coastline. You can make a reservation below!
