The trail winds through the woods among the tiny summerhouses with their tiny boards. In the natural courtyards of the atmospheric summerhouses you can play, have a coffee and enjoy the sun. The beautiful, colourful little cottages exude a traditional urban cottage atmosphere.

Swim at Kivinokka's beaches

Kivinokka has an official city beach, which is also the centre of Kivinokka's events. The beach is cosy, child-friendly and a popular leisure destination. Enjoy summer days on the beach and cool off in the sea water.

Next to the beach is the old dance hall, where many events are organised for everyone, such as the Kivinokka Midsummer Festival and film nights.

Kivinokka's second beach, the quieter swimming spot known as Sunset Beach, is located at the tip of Kivinokka. The rockier beach is usually less crowded and offers a quiet place to enjoy some peace and quiet. There is also a private beach for dogs next to the beach.

Paddle and SUP at Kivinokka

Go kayaking or SUP-boarding from Kivinokka to the stunning seascapes. Kivinokanniemi juts out onto Vanhankaupunginsel, a wide and calm paddling water body. From Kivinokka, you can go on a kayaking trip towards South Helsinki or the East Helsinki archipelago, for example.

Kivinokka is nearby

Kivinokka is best reached by public transport, walking, cycling or even canoeing. The metro runs to the nearby Kulosaari and Herttoniemi metro stations, which are a short walk from Kivinokka.

From the centre of Helsinki you can cycle to Kivinokka quickly and easily. Kivinokka is also easy to reach by sea, for example by canoe. You can get to Kivinokka by kayak, rowing boat or small outboard motorboat.
