Teijo National Park, located on the Southwestern Finnish coast, is a great outdoor destination in South Finland. There are tens of kilometers of biking and hiking routes and waterways for paddling and rowing. 

With Natura Viva’s rental Fatbikes you can easily reach the nearby villages. With our rental water equipment the pristine waters of Teijo are yours to explore. The beautiful Finnish coastal nature is always around you in Teijo.

Rent a kayak in Teijo

We offer a multitude of kayaks at Teijo Nature Center, which is located on the Matildanjärvi lakeshore. This lake is substantially large and usually calm, the perfect setting for a paddling trip, suitable also for beginners. We have both single and double kayaks for rent as well as touring kayaks for longer trips.

SUP in Teijo

SUP is a fun summer sports! SUP stands for ”Stand up paddling” – you stand or crouch on a wide board and paddle on with a calm pace. This trendy watersport is beneficial for both body and mind. Needles to say, SUP is a very relaxed experience on the calm lake Matildanjärvi. This sport is suitable for all, regardless of age and physical prowess. 

Our rental SUP boards come in three sizes. Check out our updated SUP board selection for Summer 2021 in June. 

There are also rental SUP boards available on our Helsinki and Espoo depots: Helsinki Paddling Center and Nuuksio Hawk Nest.

Rental canoes in Teijo

The traditional open canoe is a prestigious water vessel. Our rental open canoes can carry three adults or two adults and two minors, and their equipment, so with an open canoe you can embark on a family paddling trip. The pace of paddling will be relaxed and there’s plenty of time to enjoy the Teijo nature! Lake Matildanjärvi is a great paddling destination, with its small inlets, bays and capes. Go ashore and have a picnic, or bring your tent and head on an overnight trip with our rental open canoe.

Rental rowing boats in Teijo

The Finnish summer and rowing – these two go together! Rent a rowing boat and head on the lake for a soothing rowing session under the northern sun. Our rowing boats can carry 3–4 persons. Bring your picnic basket – a summer day at lake Matildanjärvi awaits you and your friends.

Lake Matildanjärvi is also a famous fishing destination, where rainbow trout is regularly introduced. Get your fishing permit from Natura Viva, rent a rowing boat and try your fishing fortunes.

Rent a Fatbike in Teijo

Teijo National Park features tens of kilometers of biking routes, and you can also head towards the seashore, where three villages with their services and sights await you. With Natura Viva’s Fatbikes biking is fun and easy. Fatbikes feature extra-wide tires, and thus it is easy to pedal on uneven terrain in the forest. You can reach high cliffs and solve precarious trails on a Fatbike. 

Our Fatbike rental at Teijo Nature Center operates year around, on a self-service basis. With our season subscription pass you may rent the Fatbikes as you will. Book a Fatbike on our webpage and you will be sent all necessary infos via e-mail.

XS: For riders of height 155-165 cm. (1 bike.)
S: For riders of height 165-175 cm. (2 bikes.)
M: For riders of height 175-185 cm. (4 bikes.)
L: For riders of height 185- cm. (1 bike.)
