Planning an overnight stay in Teijo National Park? Teijo offers multiple accommodation options—from camping by lean-to shelters to staying in well-equipped cabins near Lake Matildanjärvi, or arriving easily with a caravan next to the Teijo Nature Centre.

Matildanjärvi cabins – well-equipped rental cabins in Teijo National Park

Natura Viva has two rental wilderness cabins in Teijo National Park: Vaappu and Lippa. They are located by Lake Matildanjärvi, close to the Teijo Nature Centre (Teijon Luontokeskus). Each cabin accommodates six people, offering a relaxed base for an overnight stay in Teijo National Park.

The cabins are well equipped for a comfortable night in nature. The cabins have electricity, but drinking water must be carried from the Teijo Nature Centre. In the shared yard area you’ll find a campfire spot and a smoker. A flush toilet is available at the Nature Centre.

These cabins work well as a base for a fishing trip or as a traditional summer holiday stay. The lake is right next to the cabins, and the sea is also close by. From the cabins you can step straight onto nature trails and hiking routes in Teijo National Park.

Teijo National Park caravan area – arrive with a caravan or motorhome

Next to the Teijo Nature Centre, there is a caravan area with space for 19 caravans or motorhomes. The pitches are set in a calm, forested area, with Teijo National Park services and routes right nearby. Each pitch has a mains electricity connection.

The Nature Centre’s service building has a water point where you can collect water for use. The Metsäravintola (Forest Restaurant) serves visitors at the Teijo Nature Centre during the summer season. Through Natura Viva, you can also rent water sports equipment and fatbikes for your visit.
