Teijo Nature Centre Forest Restaurant in Teijo National Park

Teijo Nature Centre Forest Restaurant (Metsäravintola) is a seasonal café-restaurant in Teijo National Park, set in the forest landscape of Teijo. In the 2026 summer season, you’re welcome to enjoy good food made with seasonal ingredients and local produce—including Finnish berries, game, and wild herbs.

Seasonal food in the forest

Metsäravintola was created from a simple idea: to serve delicious food in the middle of nature. The selection for hikers includes, among other treats, baked goods, pinsa, fresh salads, and salmon soup.

Natura Viva rentals and tours

Pair your stop at Metsäravintola with time outdoors. In the 2026 summer season, rentals for kayaks, SUP boards, canoes, rowboats, and fatbikes operate as self-service. Lake Matildanjärvi is a beautiful paddling destination and is especially well-suited if you’re trying a kayak or SUP board for the first time. Along the shoreline you’ll find several campfire spots where you can land and enjoy your snacks by the fire.
