The Valkialampi camping area (not to be confused with the Valkealampi camping, also located in the Nuuksio national park) is a beautiful and ascetic camping area in the southern part of the Nuuksio national park. This camping, which doesn’t feature an outhouse or a campfire site, is close to the three lakes district of Urja, Vääräjärvi and Kattilajärvi, one of the most interesting hiking areas in the national park.
The Valkialampi camping area is located some eight kilometers from Hawk Nest, Natura Viva’s depot in the Nuuksio area. The camping is also within a walking distance from the Finnish Nature Center Haltia, where diverse nature exhibitions take place. Near Haltia, the lake Pitkäjärvi, the biggest lake in the area, can be reached.
