Several recreational islands in the waters near the Vuosaari Canoeing Center
The waters near the Vuosaari Canoeing Center offer wonderful recreational opportunities in the Eastern Helsinki archipelago. Rent a canoe and set out to explore the area’s recreational islands—the closest one, Malkasaari, is less than half an hour away! Open canoes are especially well-suited for calm weather and make a great summer activity for families with children.
Enjoy a leisurely paddle off the coast of Helsinki—life jackets are available for children, too!
The open canoe is stable, spacious, and best suited for paddling in calm weather. The canoe has two seats. It can accommodate two adults, and you can also bring a small child along on the trip.
In addition to the canoe, the rental includes life jackets for adults, children’s life jackets, and a paddling map of the area. Although the canoe is at its best on smaller bodies of water such as lakes and rivers, it’s also suitable for the sea in calm weather.
Unlimited access to open canoes with Season Passes!
Season pass for Nature gives you access to kayaks, canoes, SUPs and fatbikes for the entire calendar year.
In addition to the Vuosaari Paddling Center, you’ll find season pass locations at nine different sites in the Helsinki metropolitan area and Southern Finland.
Renter’s perk—try it first! After your rental, we’ll credit your season pass with €32.
