The Finnish Nature Center Haltia is Natura Viva’s partner in Nuuksio and worth a visit. There are changing, nature themed exhibitions and meeting rooms available for rent as well as a cafe and a restaurant.
By visiting the diverse exhibitions in Haltia, you have a change to get to know the Finnish nature during all seasons. In addition to the main exhibition, there are also special exhibitions, gallery exhibitions and an outdoor exhibition.
The Haltia building has been designed by Rainer Mahlamäki. He has used the saga of Kalevala as an inspiration for planning the building, which is worth admiring.
