An overnight nature trip to the Nuuksio national park is an experience! Get to know the Valkealampi camping area, in the northern part of the Nuuksio district.
The Valkealampi camping area is situated in the northern section of the Nuuksio national park, some one hour walk away from Hawk Nest, Natura Viva’s Nuuksio depot in the heart of the national park.
The Valkealampi is a sheltered forest lake. The camping grounds are located on the lakeshore – here the scene is set for a relaxed and a peaceful camping experience. (The Valkealampi camping is not to be confused with Valkialampi camping, another camping area to the south in the national park.)
This small camping area doesn’t feature any amenities, no outhouse and no campfire site. Here You will experience an authentic night in the forest, without any modern commodities. Witness the morning frost, see the mist rise from the lake surface and listen to the sounds of the forest. The Finnish nature is at its most pristine here.
The Valkealampi camping area is free of charge. We warmly recommend you start your hike from Hawk Nest, where maps of the Nuuksio area, as well as delicious coffee, snacks and beverages are available.
