Rent a touring kayak at Vuosaari Paddling Centre and head beyond the nearby islands into the Eastern Helsinki archipelago – circle the rocky Villinki area or visit Hattusaari island. Most of our touring kayaks are stable enough for less experienced paddlers too.

Kalliosaari, Pikku Leikosaari or perhaps a tour of the Sipoo archipelago? From Vuosaari Paddling Centre you'll find kayaking routes for day trips as well as longer expeditions. The Eastern Helsinki outdoor islands are close by – just 40 minutes' paddling away, you can spend an amazing weekend outdoors and explore the marine nature Helsinki is famous for.
Touring kayaks are faster and smoother to steer than basic kayaks. All our touring kayaks have a skeg and enough space for outdoor and camping gear.

Tempest 165: narrow cockpit, paddler size S–M
Zephyr 160: wide cockpit, paddler size M–XL. A good choice if you've never paddled a touring kayak before.
Freedom 505: narrow cockpit, paddler size M–L. Prior touring kayak experience preferred.
Hydra LV: wide cockpit, paddler size S–L. A good choice if you've never paddled a touring kayak before.
Hydra: wide cockpit, paddler size M–XL. A good choice if you've never paddled a touring kayak before.
Unplugged Regular: wide cockpit, paddler size M–XL. A good choice if you've never paddled a touring kayak before.
Endless Regular: wide cockpit, paddler size S–L. Prior touring kayak experience preferred.
