Rent a Fatbike from the Vallisaari Harbour House, Natura Viva's outdoor equipment rental shop, and go cycling on the island's trails. You can also walk the Vallisaari trails. Some of the island's routes have hilly and rocky terrain and are ideal for fatbike cycling. Along the Alexander's Tour you can also visit the most popular attraction on the island, the Alexander's Battery. You can also admire the stunning sea views from the observation deck of the Alexander's Battery.
From Vallisaari, it's also worth taking a trip to the adjacent Kuninkaansaari, along the isthmus connecting the islands. The King's Island is named after King Gustav III of Sweden. To Vallisaari by water bus, own boat or paddle
Vallisaari can be reached by boat, by canoe or by water bus from the Market Square. After just 20 minutes by sea, you step off the water bus and into the heart of Vallisaari, an island exceptionally rich in nature. Vallisaari's harbour is open to those arriving by boat. For paddlers, there are several kayak landing places on Vallisaari.
