Fatbike Tour in the Local Food Landscapes of Teijo National Park

What does local food taste like when enjoyed in the same landscape where its ingredients were grown? A significant share of Finland’s bread grain is grown in Salo, and the region is known for its locally produced food and drink.

Hop on a fatbike and join a guided cycling tour to discover where Salo’s local food comes from!

A Relaxed Fatbike Tour, Local Food and a Swim in Natural Waters

The tour begins at Metsäravintola in Teijo National Park, where participants receive a packed lunch featuring local delicacies. We will cycle through Teijo National Park towards the surrounding countryside. Along the way, you will meet Highland cattle and have the opportunity to swim in natural waters.

Before returning, we will visit Skotlannin Farm to explore the farm surroundings and learn about its activities. Join us to experience Finnish nature, rural landscapes and local flavours.

During the tour, we will cycle 18–23 kilometres along varied forest trails, gravel roads and countryside routes. The total cycling time is approximately 3.5 hours, with around 1.5 hours reserved for breaks. During the breaks, we will visit Skotlannin Maatalous farm and enjoy the scenery and local delicacies.
