Teijo National Park – Outdoor adventures and historic ironworks villages
Teijo National Park is a varied outdoor destination in Southwest Finland, combining beautiful lake landscapes, dense forests and high cliffs close to the archipelago. It’s an excellent place for paddling, cycling and relaxed day hikes—especially when you want accommodation, lakes and marked trails all close by. Your visit is also enriched by the historic ironworks villages of Teijo, Kirjakkala and Mathildedal, where you can enjoy culture, cafés, restaurants and an idyllic setting.
Metsäravintola at Teijo Nature Centre (summer season 2026)
In the 2026 summer season, Teijo Nature Centre will be served by a new Metsäravintola. The idea is simple: make delicious food in the middle of the forest, in Teijo National Park, using seasonal harvest and local ingredients such as Finnish berries, game and wild herbs.
For hikers and day visitors, the menu includes treats like pastries, pinsa, fresh salads and salmon soup.

In the 2026 summer season, rentals for kayaks, SUP boards, canoes, rowboats and fatbikes are self-service.
