Roosinniemen Laavu – Lean-to Shelter & Campfire Spot on the Matildanjärvi Trail, Teijo National Park
Roosinniemen laavu is a scenic lean-to shelter and campfire spot in Teijo National Park, located on a small peninsula on the eastern shore of Lake Matildanjärvi. It’s about a 1 km walk from Natura Viva’s Teijo Nature Centre (Teijon Luontokeskus).

When you start the Matildanjärvi loop trail around the lake, Roosinniemi is the second rest stop, shortly after Kavanderinlahti cooking shelter. This short hike is suitable for the whole family (and also works well when you want an easy nature break after a busy day). At Roosinniemi you’ll find a woodshed and a dry toilet.
