The Isoholma lean-to shelter is located on an island in the middle of Lake Matildanjärvi
On Isoholma Island in Lake Matildanjärvi, there is both a lean-to shelter and a campfire site, located a short walking distance from each other. The lake views on Isoholma are, of course, spectacular, so this island is a recommended hiking destination in Teijo National Park. The island also has a dry toilet, and you can stay overnight at the shelter or pitch a tent on the island.
Rowing or paddling to Isoholma on Lake Matildanjärvi
Rent a rowing boat, kayak or canoe and you can enjoy a campfire on Isoholma. The campfire sites in Teijo National Park are maintained by Metsähallitus, but there is no firewood service at the Isoholma lean-to shelter.
