Stay overnight on an island in Teijo National Park – Kalasuntti lean-to shelter
Kalasuntti laavu is located on Kalasuntti Island in the middle of Lake Sahajärvi, north of Teijo National Park. The views from the shelter over Lake Sahajärvi are stunning – this is an excellent rest stop during a hiking trip.
What makes Kalasuntti special are two pull ferries that take you to the island from hiking trails on both the southern and northern sides of the lake. Kalasuntti laavu is one of the most interesting nature destinations in Teijo National Park.
